The iTaB will be engraved with your name and finish time and simply affixes to your medal.

Collect your medal at the finish line and your iTaB will arrive in the post a few days later engraved with your Name and Finish Time. The iTaB fits perfectly onto the ribbon of your medal and is a great way to celebrate your achievement

* Would you like a Pace Pocket?
A Pace Pocket is a fabric wristband with a storage pocket for keys/cards/cash etc, and printed pace times for your half marathon

Your Pace Pocket will be sent directly to you 10-12 days before the race.  Should you change your target time between now and the race, and would like to swap for a different time, please email info@pacepockets.run at least two weeks before race day to advise on your new target time.  
Cancellation & Refund Policy for Races

The moment you enter our race we start to incur administration costs and banking charges, 

simply in processing your entry and payment. We also incur further charges in administering 

cancellations and processing refund payments 

Entry fees are non-refundable, including the cancellation of the event due to circumstances 

outside the organisers control. 

Refunds will not be payable if we are forced to cancel, or in any way change the event due to war, 

threat of war, riot, civil strife, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire or 

adverse weather conditions or other circumstances amounting to force majeure. 

In the unlikely event of the cancellation/postponement of sporting events for whatever reason, 

Purple Patch Running Ltd cannot be held responsible in any way for any monetary loss, 

inconvenience or any other circumstances outside of our control, including non-refundable events 

fees. Your entry fee is invested in the cost of staging the event, and the main costs to 

contractors, suppliers, administration etc are already committed well before race day 

No changes can be made to race entries after 2 weeks before race day 

Should you be unable to participate due to injury or illness, we cannot refund or defer your 

entry to another race or to the following year's event. However, we will allow you to 

transfer your number to another runner PROVIDED we receive email notification and the 

new runner's details no less than three weeks before race day. Notification must be made 

by email, with a follow-up telephone call if no response is received within 4 days. Please 

note that you are NOT ALLOWED to transfer your number to another runner without 

confirmation from the Race Organisers. Running in someone else's race number can have 

very serious consequences if the runner suffers a medical emergency. The accuracy of the 

race results is also affected when runners are placed in the wrong age and sex category. 

Any runner who competes in another person's race number will be disqualified 

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel applications, including duplicate applications, or 

alter the date of the event, the course route or distance 

RULES FOR PARTICIPATION 

All participants must be fit to take part, and if necessary, should seek advice from their GP. 

They should be: 

5k ? 13 years of age or older 

 

10k ? 15 years of age or older 

Half Marathon ? 17 years of age or older 

Entrants must take care when crossing roads 

Whilst every reasonable care is taken, entrants cannot hold the organisers, sponsors or 

landowners responsible for their safety 

The course is unsuitable for wheelchair users, and no accompanying dogs or following cycles 

are allowed 

All entrants must show consideration for other users of public footpaths and rights of way 

The organisers reserve the right to withdraw entrants from the event and anyone that opts 

to continue does so entirely at their own risk 

Disclaimer: 

I agree and abide by the rules of the event's governing body (Association of Running Clubs - 

ARC) and the event. I understand that I enter the race at my own risk and that no person(s) 

or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to myself, prior to, 

during or after the event. I understand the organisers reserve the right to alter the 

arrangements and conditions should circumstances require.

Entrants Information / Photography

The entrant authorises the use of their name, voice and picture and any information provided on the event entry form to be used without payment in any broadcast, telecast, communication, promotion, or advertising. The entrant also agrees that the information provided may be used by the Event Organisers for the purpose of promoting future or other events or for the promotion of the Event charity(ies), race sponsors products and services.
