The Jo Cox Way 2019

Incredibly this year will be the 4th year for The Jo Cox Way bike ride.

The ride is a 5 day bike ride that celebrates community spirit and raises money for The Jo Cox Foundation and More In Common. The Jo Cox Way advances the causes Jo Cox championed, it is a tribute to her life, her beliefs and the spirit of community that exists throughout the country in our villages, towns and cities.

Cyclists on The Jo Cox Way will wear jerseys emblazoned with the statement '#moreincommon', wording taken from Jo's maiden speech in the House of Commons when she said, 'We are far more united and have far more in common than that which divides us.'

The 2019 Jo Cox Way starts in Batley and ends in London, connecting communities and spreading Jo’s values. The amazing route to London will provide new insight into the beautiful UK countryside and also your own capabilities.

Format for the ride will again be 5 days of riding averaging approx. 65 miles over 1st 4 days and a leisurely 25 miles on the final day as we cycle into London.

Demand will outstrip the available places so please book your place early.

The event will be fully supported with experienced cyclists guiding groups of similar riding ability.

The entry fee includes:

  • Accommodation, dinner and breakfast,

  • Coach transport from London back to the start in Batley at the end of ride

  • Backup support vehicles

  • Transportation of luggage
