New to racing or looking to develop your confidence and bunch riding skills in a race situation?  Join LWR for a race skills session with BC Coach Mark Adams. This session will focus on developing your skills for racing in a peloton; Including:

  • Cornering
  • Moving through the bunch
  • Group riding
  • Echelon riding
  • Attacks, when to/what to look for/manage/counter
  • Finishes


Info about the coach Mark Adams: 

Marks is a BC Club Coach British Cycling Coach Education Tutor and part-time Team GB staff  member.  He has worked for Welsh Cycling and British Cycling for 24 years including World Class. Mark was one of the originators of  the Talent Team, for example; James Spragg, Chris Opie, Jo Tindley and Dani King (Rowe)  were riders on his programme.  He has coached a number of elite riders and has taken Teams on International road races.  Mark still works with the GB Cyclocross Team and has co-written the “Cyclocross Bible”, which is regarded as the definitive cyclocross guide.

He is currently the Team Manager for Hargroves Ridley Race Team, a development team for predominantly Junior and Under 23 riders, for 2019 the majority of the team are women.
