A 6 week women only beginners running course led by our amazing Run Leaders. Suitable for those who may not have exercised for many years, those who need a bit more confidence and those who may be returning to running after a break or an injury. A perfect 'step' out of the front door into activity. Sessions can last up to an hour.
Unlike 'Couch to 5k' this programme does not aim for non-stop running. The aim is for you to understand that walking is not a weakness during running distances, that exercising as a group can be great and that you CAN run without feeling completely exhausted. We're not super skinny gym instructors, nor are our sessions shouty and aggressive. All we expect of you is to turn up and hang out with us for 6 weeks...and you'll get a medal as your reward!
