A 44 mile loop around Bristol City Centre

Time Allowance: The maximum race allowance is 12 hours and will commence at Midnight and complete no later than midday on the Saturday, allowing an overall time of 12 hours. If you are outside this time you will not be classified as a finisher.

Chip-Timing: Will be used to record competitors arrival at check-points. The information will also be relayed to our website so that family and friends can follow progress.
Food: For Catered entrants, all Checkpoints will carry various food and drink such as sandwiches, 9Bar, GU Gels, Crips, Peanuts,  Red Bull, Cola, Water & Squash. On completion, a hot breakfast sandwich, pot noodle, coffe and tea will be available at the Village Hall. For Raw entrants only water is available.

Race Entries: Competitors must register on-line prior to the event day. On the day competitors must collect their race numbers and provide their kit bags for inspection at Norton Malreward Village Hall, at least one hour before the start of the race. Each participant will be given a race number which must be clearly attached by safety pins. If this is not clearly visible you may be delayed at checkpoints.
All Teams must have pre-registered before the day and consist of at least three competitors who will also count as individual competitors amongst the rankings. For a Full Distance Team to successfully complete the race, a minimum of three members of that Team must finish. Relay team members in categories 2, 3, 4 or 5; all originally designated members of a team must complete the leg they have chosen, and the following team member must not start the race until the person they are handing over from has arrived at that CP station.

Competitors must be self-sufficient, and carry the following mandatory items:
Backpack or equivalent
Head Torch with spare batteries
Ordnance Survey Maps 155 & 167 (our downloadable maps are fine)
Compass or GPS device
Whistle
Mobile phone
Emergency foodpack consisting of two chocolate bars, Mars or similar
First Aid Kit
