Autumn Shakespeare

These are the perfect races for runners of all abilities. With a flat route, they are great races for seasoned runners looking for a PB and many return year after year to get a fast time.

For new runners, there is a 5km race which is just one lap of the course. You also have the added advantage of starting with the 10k runners who will help to carry you along to the finish.

The course is based on a traffic free 5km lap on tarmac and is designed to give spectators lots of opportunities to cheer you on. With no roads or traffic to navigate, all you have to do is concentrate on running. Easy.

Registration opens at 08:00 and closes promptly at 09:30. Numbers will not be posted out. They must be collected from registration.

Please allow 5 mins to walk from registration to the start. The Kids Fun Run starts at 9:15 by the main start. The main races start at 10:00 separated by a couple of minutes

Prizes

These are awarded for the 10k, Half Marathon and Marathon 1st, 2nd and 3rd male and female overall. 1st male and female veteran in each 10 year age category.

No runner will be awarded more than one prize. If an overall (1,2,3) prize winner is also first in an age category, the age category prize will go to the next placed runner in that category.
