Go Tri Maidstone 2.5k run

Open to entrants aged 14 or over. 14-18 year olds will run 2.4 km with a separate turnaround point on the run route in adherence to British Triathlon rules on maximum run distance for this age group. 

This event aims to encourage beginners to have a go at multisport in a relaxed environment. The emphasis is on enjoyment and completion rather than "racing". The swim, bike and run sections will be timed and you will have time to change clothing between the sections. Transition times will not be included in the overall results. This is the time it takes from one section to another.

Registration will open at 6:45pm for an event start of 7:20pm on Wednesday 11th July 2018

Limited spaces are available to enhance the quality of the competitor experience. It will not be a big race. It will be fun and it will be a first time event for most people.

For this event you will need the following:

• 1 or 2 piece costume for ladies. Trunks or shorts for men
• Goggles
• Towel
• Trainers
• Suitable clothing to cycle/run
• Water bottle

Swimming caps will be provided for this event.
